Kat - Management

"Hi! I'm Kathryn, but you can call me Kat. I am originally from Boston but have lived on the west coast most of my adult life so far. I am an avid traveler, traveling to 11 countries over the past two years. I have had over 11 years of management experience, and I am so grateful to combine my experience and skills as a manager with my love for animals. I have always been a big animal lover having grown up around cats and dogs, experience taking care of horses, and always being the friend to dog or cat sit. Now, I am so excited to help Prefurred Pets Nashville to continue to thrive as the best pet service company in Nashville!"

Laura - Care Specialist

"Hi! My name is Laura and I was born and raised in Nashville. I have traveled around the world, but never have left this place I call home. I have a bachelor's degree in K-8 education from Tennessee Tech University and used to be a kindergarten teacher. I'm a mom to the seven most amazing humans on the planet and the four best/most fun/naughtiest dogs. I work really well in the chaos. I have always adored dogs. Some of my earliest memories are of me creating dog scrapbooks from my Dog Fancy magazine subscription surrounded by my stuffed dog collection and walls littered with dog posters on my 101 Dalmatians comforter bed set.  It was a slight obsession. In my free time I love to read, create art, handletter & journal, make all the coffee drinks & cocktails, bake sweet treats and love on all my people and pups. I promise to take the best care of your sweet fur baby and love on them to pieces."

Bonnie - Care Specialist

"Hi, I’m Bonnie. I love all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs, especially rescues.  I have had dogs my entire life and I current have 3 rescue chihuahuas. I enjoy pet sitting and walking. Not only do I own dogs, but I work with rescue dogs on a daily basis. I think it is very important to get to know each dog’s personality and preferences when caring for them. I am certified in pet cpr. My chihuahuas are a huge part of my life, one of which never allows me to leave his side.

Erin - Care Specialist

"Hi there! I'm Erin, a long-time dog lover! Originally from Wisconsin, I've lived in Nashville for two years now and have loved every second of it. Through dog sitting (and growing up with my own), I have been able to meet and care for a wide variety of dogs. From playful puppies, to youngsters with emotional issues, to 100lb German Shepherds who hate other dogs. You can have peace of mind knowing my experience and passion for pups. I am so looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends!"

Sam - Care Specialist

"Hello! My name is Sam. I moved to Nashville in 2021 having lived in New Orleans since 2012 when I moved there for college. I grew up in a small cow town in Northern Massachusetts.
I have years of experience working with animals. Growing up, I had three German Shepherds, two Labrador Retrievers, a Bernese Mountain dog and around 15 cats over my entire childhood. I started volunteering at my local humane society during the summers of high school and during college. In addition, I have years of experience house sitting animals, all with various needs. I truly believe that pets are a huge part of the family and should always be treated as such."

Mike - Care Specialist

"Greetings! My name is Mike. I moved to Nashville from Philadelphia in October of 2023. I grew up in a household filled with pets including dogs, cats, snakes, turtles, chinchillas, and more! My love of taking care of animals began in my early teens when I started spending summers on my Aunt and Uncles farm. After that I soon became the go to dog sitter for neighbors and friends. I’ve always been a nature boy at heart and love outdoor adventures. I’m also passionate about music and have been known to hold the attention of dogs throughout entire songs. I just hope that’s a good thing, I’m still waiting on official feedback!"

Rachel - Care Specialist

Julia - Care Specialist

"Hello! I'm Julia, a Swede living in Nashville, TN. I moved across the pond at the beginning of 2020 and just started my fourth year in this awesome southern state. I used to consider myself a crazy cat lady - up until I started fostering dogs for MACC. I adopted my dog Darcy in 2022 and after I met my current husband (who also is a dog trainer), my family grew considerably. Today we have one Pittie and two Belgian Malinois. I have been working with dogs professionally since early 2023, and I take pride in caring for other people's pets just like I do with my own fur babies!"
